Bali Globe Skatepark

TheBonelessOne 02:45 12/Jan/10

i know there was another thread on this, but for those interested here is a bit more info on how to get there as it was pretty hard to find.

It's out the front of the globe warehouse and there is a small skate shop inside that looked like it sold mostly blank style boards.

The park is 3.5 foot deep in the shallow, with tightish tranny. The square corner is 4 foot deep and touches vert, and the deep end is six foot deep. There is pool coping pretty much wherever the tiles are below thw coping, with most of the shallow section and the volcanoe having just a square concrete edge instead of coping. The park is well built and no lumps, which is a big surprise for bali.

The is also a 2 foot mini with small hump in the middle off to one side

bali has a decent skate scene, heaps of marble street spots with the new developments happening all the time. cool local crew to. a tad sweaty but

The flow is pretty weird, and the tighter tenny in the shallow corner takes a bit of getting used to. But thats the fun of it, especially trying to work out lines going around the volcanoe
