Have talked to Willy, everyone is busy and I understand this, but a letter doesn't take much time, spread the word. And yeah I'm good Eamon, trying to kick goals but its hard while the goalposts keep moving ; )

latest from the project officer, looks like it will go to tender at the end of the month with everything going smoothly, not that that happens all the time.

Hello Phil,

Thank you for your email.

I appreciate your enthusiasm and curiosity in the final process of design heading into construction.

Yes, the tender will be released after the final plans have been approved by council.

The Skate Consultant has received all feedback and is now documenting the plans.

As I mentioned in my last email we are progressing through the final stages of detailed design Documentation, which includes integrating councils Landscape Plans for the Youth Precinct with the drawings for the actual Skate Plaza. This is no small task by any bodies stretch of the imagination and unfortunately this takes time.

We are in the process of obtaining Geotechnical reports, Hydraulic sign off, Structural Engineering Sign off, Council Governance Approval as well as a raft of other important steps and checks, which are mandatory to ensure this project is built in accordance with current legislation, building Codes and Australian Standards.

The tender process will be announced publicly when the documents are ready, at this stage all I can say is that we are working tirelessly to have the documents ready by the end of the month.

I trust in your understanding and appreciate your patience with this project.

Hi Phil,

The construction documents are out to public tender at the moment.

The tender was released to the public on the 7th DEC and will close on the 16th of January.

The successful tenderer will be notified a week later and construction is likely to start earl February.

I trust this answers you curiosity.

Kind regards,

If this was my local Id be froffin ma guts! Its a sick park, disagree also. Lots of fun looking, fairly unique shit. Needs a mini where those weird sculptures are, or at least somewhere. But other than that looks fun.

Also one of those round bank things should be a taco instead. Also should have a gap in that long red bit so you can hit the long big block set.

These are concept plans that the council asked us not to post. The finished/final is different.
