The plaza was planned for Hogben park. Damien Duggan was the council contact. I just pinged him to see if he had any update on funding. Someone else calling him might be good. Will post here if I hear anything new from him.

Kogarah had a skatepark at priority 1 in Carss Park about 10 years ago. Nothing ever happened.
This park is huge, it has heaps of parking and is virtually empty throughout the week. I'd be more than willing to have a chat to the council with somebody else that has a bit of swing (sparkes?) to see if something can be put together here.
Waterloo mini should be completed and ready to use in about 2 - 3 weeks. Thanks Cam but its definitely a joint effort with Trent and Nigel too.

i didn't realise there was gonna be that extra quarter backing onto the existing park.
the extra quarter backing onto the park is just over three foot with the same radius as the four foot....so it will be slightly mellower that the transition in the mini itself.
good job mr. sparkles and gang! that entry point from park is genius. if the coping is at that perfect medium point ppfffwoah such a good addition
the little extra bit of flat is good too because it gives you that tiny bit more setup time wehn using the other ledge going the other way.
not many people seem to use it from the mini ramp side but that might change now.
i'm hope the platform on the miniramp is wide enough to have people standing on it waiting for the mini and for ledge runs. by the look of it should be fine.
if not, a bit of new turf might be a good addition to people can stand on the side without getting dirt on their feet.
haven't been to waterloo in a while, looking forward to skating it when its done
