Bolton Point is moving now too. View through 1/2 pipe to end tranny wall.
End tranny wall profile. This could be more fun than H/ville but a cop friend says beware the scary locals. (?)
scary locals, bahahahahaha, more like they should be scared of axe wielding crazy fukkas like us
Holmesville est fin'e. Just like i pictured it. BMXers from Barnsley, Westy and H'ville making a dusty mess of this 'bike park' in the middle of the bush. Ah well, I guess i'll just continue the road trips to Sydney and C Coast to get my fill.
ps. What's with the non radiused (angular) bottom on the banked wall side of the park? Is this to Sk8 proof the facility? Works a treat! Viva la quads, motos and tail whippin' bike mofos!!!!!
Ive skated both the Homesville and Bolton point parks in the last week and both are fun despite some design/layout flaws. Both parks are overrun with bmx bandits, 10 year olds, girls, dogs, and generally sketchy kids. These parks are really fun for newcastle heads as they are the first proper cement parks in the area and anything is better than prefabricated cement crap. The only thing wrong with these parks is the cramping of obstacles in a small area and difficulty gaining speed for certain obstacles/lines.
Its sort of frustrating having these parks about a 20 minute drive from the city, hopefully mayfield will fill a gap in the newcastle skate scene
